Sealladh an Loch is located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, right next door to the historic and infamous Boleskine House. In a conservation area, surrounded by fields, forests & mountains and overlooking the iconic Loch Ness, it offers pure peace and tranquility.
We support responsible and sustainable tourism – the house is triple-glazed, super-insulated and uses green energy from a ground-source heat pump. The house is built for a sustainable future in an area where heritage amenities are dedicated to preserving the landscape.
The house is built into the side of the mountain, with a huge glazed frontage looking onto Loch Ness and its back-drop of mountains. It is surrounded by pasture in which sheep are often grazing – in spring you can watch out for new-born lambs. There are forests on all sides. It feels wonderfully rural, and yet the village of Foyers is within easy reach, with a village shop, post office & cafe, a pub and the famous ‘Falls of Foyers.’
There are several way-marked local woodland walks around the house, and wildlife including deer, red squirrels, pine martens and birds of prey. You can reach the shores of Loch Ness by walking down through the forest across the road.
